44 Seconds

Is it too early to send in her Harvard application?

I haven't really updated about Lucy lately...not that anyone besides me, Jennifer and Grammi and Grandpa really care but oh well...you're going to hear how cute and smart my child is, so there.

Lucy is giving me a run for my money---so thanks Steph, for posting about tantrums relating to intelligence and creativity---she's 15 months and can give a pretty awesome dirty look.

She can say a lot more words, climb everywhere-her favorite places include the dishwasher and backs of couches. She has started screaming and hitting-which I'm desperately trying to deal with. How do you discipline a naughty 15 month-old? I've tried a firm "no," and put her arms down, I've tried ignoring, I've tried a sweet voice saying no and I've tried distraction. I'm not sure if any of it is working or if any of it is even the correct course of action.
Um...that owner's manual can show up any day.

I have no idea how much she weighs or how tall she is...like you care...but she fits into sizes 12-18 months depending on the manufacturer and she has gigantic feet...she fits a toddler size 6 already and sometimes they're a little tight. She is doomed to a life of big feet but like my Dad always said...lots of understanding. She gives kisses sparingly, usually sleeps wonderfully, eats like a very messy bird and is the light of my life.

She is still my sweet girl despite her new found attitude, I wonder where she got it. ;)
