Product Review: Toddler Bibs

A few months ago I bought some new plastic bibs from Meijer. I needed something that provided more coverage than just her baby bibs. It wasn't exactly what I wanted but it was the best they had. They were the Baby Beginnings brand and were about $6.00 for 2. They were made in China (which I knew when I bought them...does that make me a horrible mother?). After using them for a while I've been very disappointed. For one thing, they STINK. For some reason they hold on to smelly smells. And stains and you know how I feel about stains. I've bleached them several times and they still are dirty and stinky. SO...I was really happy when the other day I found these other bibs at IKEA. They were 2 for $4.00 and they're machine washable which I think is great. I haven't had to machine wash them, I just put a dab of dishsoap and handwash them quickly. Another good thing is they dry by the next time I need to use them whereas the other would take a really long time to dry so if both were wet...I had to use the old tiny baby bibs. AND they have sleeves...lots of good coverage. So, if you need some good bibs check out the baby section at IKEA.

We use a bib called the Hi-Chair Bib. It's not as cheap as Walmart but my kids love them as the bibs don't make them hot underneath (like plastic), they are made in Hawaii (the tag says so) and they have lasted through 2 generations of kids! I got them as a gifts and now I give them as gifts!

Hi, Anna! My comment is entirely unrelated to this post, but I wanted to thank you for your post about the chicken lo mein. I made it this week when my family was here, and it was a big hit!
