She Loves me, She Really Loves me

I have mentioned to a few people about the goblin that has replaced my daughter. The screaming, spitting, pinching, scratching goblin showed up a couple weeks ago. I'm slowly learning how to deal with it and have gotten a lot of good advice. It's been a tough change that is emotionally grueling and physically demanding. Saturday, I was reading through Parenting Magazine and they had an article about how to know when your baby loves you. As I was reading through her age group, 12-20 mos, it said that the ways she shows her love are through imitation and that she isn't afraid to be naughty with me and test boundaries. Dropping her off for babysitting during our temple trip last month was nerve wracking, I thought I would get a report of bites, pinches and scratching, but of course she was a perfect angel---because she loves me. Then a couple weekends ago she came to me with her monkey and a dishtowel and wanted me to wrap it up. Then she rocked it on the ottoman. What a sweetie.

Not Lucy! She must really love you because I can't begin to imagine her doing any of those things. :)

Lucy is just the perfect girl. We have NO complaints. She and I enjoyed our 1st approved outing to the store last weekend. She charmed everyone. It was SO sweet watching her mother that monkey! She has a wonderful mommy to copy. Bring her to GrammO & Grandpa's anytime stinky or sweet!
