Check your Cheerios {Saying Goodbye to Summer}

Technically, there are 17 days of Summer left but it seems generally accepted that it ends Labor Day Weekend. I will miss Summer during the cold month of February.  That is where my mind goes as soon as the first cool breezes start.  I'm not thinking about how fun Fall can be, but about the dreary end of Winter.  I'm trying to be more positive this year.  I am looking forward to Cider Mills, Halloween, Birthdays, and Thanksgiving.  Maybe it won't be too bad.  I just hate saying goodbye to all the Summer fun.  We had our movie night again this year and again, it rocked.  "We should do this every year."  We watched Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, and ate yummy treats.  I made HISTK-themed cookies, inspired by Bake@350.
I love movie night.  In a perfect world-we do it every weekend.

Looks like a great family time. I'm glad everyone could go. The cookies were really clever.

It was so fun! The cookies were yummy and I'm glad there weren't any tiny children in them. Love that pic of Lu where her nostrils are all flared.

I love those cookies, and I love that movie! I think we had it on tape, recorded off of TV or something, because I recall watching it a bazillion times. So much fun! When I come to Michigan, I want to come at the end of summer so I can attend movie night. :)
