St. Patty's Preschool

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!

We hosted preschool yesterday so we had to have a St. Patrick's Day theme.  It was so much fun!

We learned about Ireland, Shamrocks, Leprechauns, Green, and St. Patrick.
The kiddos pretended to be snakes while I beat the drum to drive them out of Ireland.
We ate a fruit rainbow.
We pulled gold coins out of the pot and read the instructions.  It's a good thing hardly any of them could actually complete a somersault since there would have been a collision.

Then, Lucky the Leprechaun came and left us some tricky clues to find his pot of gold.  We followed his footprints to the freezer, up high, and to the shower, before we found his pot of gold under the table.  What a tricky guy!

I hope your day is full of shenanigans!

I can't take credit for most of the ideas. :) I usually come across them on other blogs and make them my own.

Oh man!! Looks like Evelyn missed out big time!! Sounds like you had so much fun! Man! I like the picture of zachy, he looks like a little JQ (or is it GQ?) model. :) Your St. Pactrick's day lesson was WAY better than the one I would have done (had I been in charge) Mine would have been like this, "St. Patrick's day= green" period. the end. Thanks for sharing and taking the time to post!

one more thing, sorry to write a novel, but I was going to say--you should forward this post on to the other preschool moms. I'm sure they would love to check it out.

P.S. I just noticed your baby/cantalope comparison at the bottom of the page....you are looking really great to be carrying around a cantalope inside of you!!
