New Year's Resolutions

I am doing the usual reflection on the New Year, it being New Years Day and all, and between fits of annoyance at my neighbors I have come up with a few things:

1. Beat my previous time at the Cheetah Chase.
2. Floss more.
3. Give more service.
4. Take better pictures.
5. Smile more.
6. Practice patience with my little hooligans.
7. Be a better peacemaker in our home.
8. Be slow to anger.
9. Learn something new.
10. Read more books!

I think these are some good improvements and areas where I can set some good goals without feeling overwhelmed.

We had our share of the usual holiday stress and some sickness but we managed to balance it with some spirituality, service and fun.

Lulu and her beloved Pogo Stick!
She just has to wait for the snow and ice to melt to take it outside.

Noah reading with Gram.  I think it's the cutest thing that he will often grab a book and sit down to read.  He won't sit to listen to a story but he loves to do it himself.  I guess I shouldn't be surprised.  He is currently full of toddler style independence.

I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Hoping you hear more from me in 2013.

I love these more realistic resolutions. I'm going that route as well. Noah reading by Grammi has got to be the cutest thing ever! Goodness.
